Up to his old tricks!

Yesterday afternoon nanny and poppy came over to play a game with Brian. Brian's dice rolling must have been off because they both beat him!! He loves playing games with them. He loves just having them near. And he smiled!
Dad checks into the hospital tomorrow morning for round two of his chemo treatments. He should only be there 4 days. He said the only thing he dreads about going back is the bed and the food!!
Last night his cousin Justin and a friend came over to visit and play video games. Brian had a great time and enjoyed the company. It always amazes me how much patience and caring Brian's cousins and friends have at their age. He was disappointed when they had to leave.
Today was a good day for Brian. The new pain med regiment seems to be working as Brian has had fewer bouts of severe pain. Last night he woke me up just a couple of times.
Today he was back to his old self. When I asked him to give me his foot to apply the topical antibiotic, he stuck the wrong foot out from under his blanket again. And smiled!
He got out of his bed and into his wheelchair to take a bath and he wheeled through the hallway in slow motion. It was hilarious to watch as he slowly pumped his arms and moved the chair by using his legs. And smiled!
Amy came over to cut his hair and when she had finished and was putting her things away, Brian grabbed the spray bottle and gave Amy a squirt and then disappeared down the hallway. Smiling! He wasn't in slow motion either!
