Last nights note.

"Dad, it's hard to hear out of my right ear, it feels like it popped but it won't unpop and it feels like I have an infection or there is water in it but that's impossible unless the blood went into my eartube and closed it. Dad, I love you and mom and if I die tonight please don't be sad, if you feel anything you should be happy that I'm in Heaven..."
Last night as Brian was getting ready to go to sleep he hollered and Carol and I to come in there quickly. Brian was holding a napkin with blood in it. He spit out blood for several minutes so we watched him until it appeared the bleeding had stopped. Overnight, Carol and I would go in and check on him with a flashlight to check for bleeding but he didn't start again. And this morning there wasn't any indication of bleeding but we'll watch him closely today.
The last couple of days have been better, Brian has had much more energy regardless of the pain. Friday was an exceptionally good day!!
We didn't have any luck finding a pain management team here so we are waiting to hear from Vanderbilt. I talked with them Thursday and the nurse called me back later in the afternoon to tell me she is working on finding someone there who can help. Hopefully we'll here from her next week.
As always, thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
