We'll hit the road at about 6am to make the 9:30 appointment. The day can't get here soon enough because Brian really needs tumor reduction surgery in several places. The tumor on the bridge of his nose is encroaching on his left eye and the tumors in his jaws have grown so much that he has difficulty speaking.
Both yesterday morning and this morning there was blood on his mouth but it appears to be from his lips cracking. I asked him if he ever licked his lips to keep them moist forgetting that his tongue barely reaches them anymore. He has lip moisturizer but he forgets to use it.
After feeding him this morning he said, "Hey dad...look!" He would inhale and the food in his tube would rise up and then he would exhale and it would disappear again. I had to get on to him for playing with his food!! LOL.
Things have pretty much stayed the same for the last week...no surprises.
