He wanted to be the first...

...person to change his trach...and he was!

I asked if he wanted me to change it and he shook his head no and pointed to himself. SO...I held a mirror so that he could see what he was doing and he made the switch!!

He was very proud of himself and was all smiles because it was so simple to do. I was proud of him too.

He also said, with a smile, that he slept real good last night for a change!!

Now...if I can get some sleep...
