A rough evening...

...yesterday afternoon we took Brian to get his flu shot. As Carol was registering she very considerately volunteered me to get mine too. I also ended up getting a tetnus shot. The amazing thing is that I didn't feel either shot.

I don't remember my last flu shot having any side effects but today I feel like I have the flu. Last night Brian got sick to his stomach and it looked like he may have had some old blood on his stomach. We aren't sure but can't think of anything else that would have that dark color.

Thank you for keeping him in your prayers. If it was blood that is not a good sign. Our hope is that the flu shot made him sick and that he will feel better today.

I have a friend in Chicago who has been a nurse all her life. I made mention of those new spiral bulbs having mercury in them and how hazardous they can be. Her comment back about that was that there is also mercury in the flu shots!

I won't take a flu shot. The flu shots supposedly gives one a mild case of the flu and supposedly when the big stuff comes you will be able to better fight off the flu since you had a mild case and your body has build an defense against it.

Problem...the flu shots never seem to be for the flu that happens to be the one you are supposedly resistant to. Too many strains of flu. Why they put mercury in the flu shots is no clue to me. Never heard that before but my nurse friend has never led us astray.

In speaking with my 'cancer doctor', he stated that the the shot being given is always for the previous years bug. Being that I have a weakened immune system, he felt I would not benefit from the flu shot but rather get the flu from it. I can't tell you how many times I've had nurses and or 'regular doctors' tell me I couldn't get the flu from the flu shot but, each time I got the shot, I came down with the flu within 48 hours; sometimes sooner. My cancer doctor said getting the flu shot was up to me but he didn't recommend it based upon my medical history. I won't be getting it this year either. I have often wondered if it's more of a ploy by the 'government' to control the population? Our government has a history of such action in years past and, if you don't believe that, look into the 30's, 40's, and 50's and you'll be amazed at what you find.

Praying for Brian to be better and able to be up again and that the blood in his stomach was just from the flu shot! I don't get flu shots either, because of my weak immune system.....took a flu shot years ago when working at the hospital and got very ill from it! In the 50's, if I remember correctly, many took the flu shots and either died or were paralyzed...something about the eggs used contaminated the meds used for the shots...now I don't think I remember for sure, but it was either the 50's or 60's and I wouldn't let me or my family get the shots at that time...didn't trust the gov't and still don't! May God Bless and protect us everyone! Amen! Ma

I have only took the flu shot once and i got the flu in less than 48 hours . I was sick for a few days. I will keep yall in my prayers.
