Brian's Battle Update

Pete in MI

Still worn out...
Posted 20 hours ago

...from the drive to Nashville and back yesterday. It's a long drive for a 10 minute scan!!

The CT scan went smooth and Brian did a great job of holding his head still long enough to get a good read on one attempt.

We took his new "ride" and Brian buzzed around the hospital with ease. He is starting to get the hang of it and is already pushing it to its limits. There were a couple of times I thought he hung a U-turn a little fast but otherwise he did great.

Our appointment with the plastic surgeon is on the 25th. He will look over the CT scan and make his recommendations about surgery.

We also visited Samuel and his family while there and hope to see them again soon. Please continue to pray for them.

Dad should be home from the hospital tomorrow afternoon. This is his seventh treatment. It has been a long spring and summer for mom and dad. Please keep dad in your prayers.

Brian is doing real good and has had minimal pain the last couple of weeks and hasn't complained of heartburn for four days now. Awesome!!

Thanks for being there for us...we appreciate the prayers!
