What I am Thankful For

"Brian wrote the following for this weeks article in The Knoxville Journal newspaper."

I am thankful for my life. I

Happy Thanksgiving Brian and family and bless your heart for being so thankful to God for so many things which makes you an inspiration to me and I'm sure many others! You and family are appreciated on the CMD Forum and always in our prayers! The love of God within those who truly love Him never grows cold and our love for you and your family is always a lit flame burning brightly for you and many others who need healing and an inspirational touch in God's agape love through His beloved and only begotten Son, Jesus! My prayer is for no or very little bleeding during your upcoming surgery in Dec. and a successful tumor reduction by God's Holy Spirit guiding the hands of the surgeon and blessing you with a quick recovery and a successful healing! Thanks Pete for the update and your family is always loved and thought of with many prayers prayed for each of you! Amen! Ma Betty

...thank you for the wonderful prayer! Surgery has been postponed until January 4th because the surgeon wants a 4 hour time slot in case of complications. We still go to Nashville on Dec. 7th to see the eye specialist and he can move the surgery up if he feels Brian's eyesight might be threatened. We really would rather wait until after Christmas though, Lord willing. His eyes may be swollen shut for a few days afterward and the recovery could be difficult.

You and your family are in my prayers daily. Have a great, safe Thanksgiving!

Doug and Brian

Hi Brian may I introduce myself to you.....First of all let me apologize for my lack of knowledge on your situation even though I've read some of the post and have read and also Prayed because I'm a true believer in our Heavenly Farther His Son Jesus and The Holy Spirit.....My name is Daniel Davis I was born and raised in south Ga.USA on Dec 21 1952....I'm an old guy lol but I feel younger than that at timesThe youngest of three children.....I have a sister Brenda that is 4 years older than me and a brother Olis that is 2 years older than me....My earthly parents have pasted on to my Heavenly Fathers Home in Heaven......I have a brain tumor and don't spell good sometimes but rely on the spell check when I can calm down and take my time because my brain is on steroids to keep the swelling down it is very active but that's OK with me I don't sleep much so we can communicate some if it's OK with your parents.......Your Friend ......They just call me Dan
Happy Thanks giving .....tell me about you if you want to,

Thank you Doug! I hope and pray that Brian's surgery can wait until after Christmas and New Year's Day that way he will be home to be with you all and not feeling worse from the surgery, for it will take time for him to recooperate! I know he is looking foward to all of you being together for Christmas and May God Bless all of you with a wonderful Thanksgiving Day, today!

We had lots of tornado watches and warnings last night and plenty of rain...too much for many areas as flood warnings were out most of the evening and night, but no snow as yet! Praise God for helping many travelers to get where they are going and back home safely! Amen! Ma Betty
