Broke Century Mark

Took my 305 to a park today that I know has been hit regularly. Got a 24-28-32 signal about 6" from an old tree stump. After digging down about 7" I finally broke the 1900 barrier on a penny when I pulled a well worn 1898. This one read on my 305 like all the other Indians I have pulled. Varying numbers from 24-32. Second Indian for the year and March isn't gone yet. For the month and year. 4 Mercury's, 5 Silver Rosies, 2 Indian Heads, 1 Old Jefferson and 18 Wheats. Not bad for only three weeks or so of unfrozen ground.

Gday Bob

Congratulations...a day to remember
cherish that old indian
may there be many more

I love those old Indian Head cents. Sounds like you're off to a great start with your 305. Keep us posted on your continued success. HH Randy

I'd be very satisfied with that start, in fact I'd be tickled to death:clapping:. Very nice HH TomB

bob Wynn, great job on those old coins. I have found around 60 coins in the last two weeks and the only old coin I pulled out is a 1947 wheatie. I wunder if someone has already hit the spots I am detecting. my luck sucks!

WTG Bob! You're a very fortunate detectorist to have found that many 'Ole Coins' this early in the season. Congratulations!
