Broke my record

Over the past few years I had a whole slew of
detectors. For some reason or another I sold
them off just looking for that ideal machine to swing.

The good news is ... I have no plans on selling the
F70 and think it's the best machine that suits me.

Just need to let the heat go down again
so I can start swinging again!

You have to find the detector (s).. that you like, and works the way you want it to....

For me it's the T2 ( Tek)........and the Standard F75 ( Fisher) units...... One has less EMI in some of my hunting areas, is why Two works well for my hunting. Either one would work most of the time, but I like the variable settings on each detector in some instances.

It's not always about maximum depth ( That Maybe 1" More) for me anymore... Ease of swing, overall results, and enjoyment of the Hobby....
.............. is my main concern when detecting..... The above two units have plenty of depth in the 7 to 10" range consistently.

I do have one other detector with multi frequency I sometimes use in Iron infested areas, but that is getting less and less usage as I adapt to the Two mentioned above. That is not to say anything is wrong with the multi frequency unit..It works fine, and there is nothing wrong with it...... Weight is the biggest factor ( Personal Preference).......and the slow speed of sweep that I like "less, and less" is the main culprit that makes me less inclined to use it as a grab and go detector.........

There are some great detectors in today's market.and most work very well.......... More, and more, preference will be every-ones deciding factor.. ( Not to mention price)... and not so much the great difference in depths. Because the truth is," there just isn't that much difference in depth", with any of the latest release machines....

Well Stated Elton!

Even though I spend a bunch of money trying different brands and detectors
I don't have any regrets.

This is the hobby that keeps on giving - it all adds up!

Besides, I absolutely relish the time alone and find this to be
very relaxing.
