Broke my record

Just had to tell someone since my wife doesn't enjoy the hobby. I set my new record today for silver in a year. Went to Omaha's largest park and got a 34 Indian Head nickel and two steps from where I was going to call it quits dug up a '46 Rosie. That makes 67 silver on the year (still only one quarter), one more than my previous best. Also set a best on old pennies with 260 so far. Next week winter finally hits so this week may be it until 2013.
Thanks

Yeah! Awesome! :clapping: Lets make the most of this week while we can! I think you missed a Barber half out there by that one tree, its on edge and give a squirrely signal...and I also see on google earth a Standing Lib over by that patch of crabgrass down about 6" and masked by a zinc

Congrats and I feel for you brother... Mine "likes to go" but ends up reading her book under a tree. lol

Congratulations to you Bob! Maybe it won't get as cold and frozen as we think. Although, since I started detecting I've kept track a little better and the first week in Dec. is usually the "freeze up" time in central Nebraska, a little later I think for you guys there in Omaha. Must be all the buildings.

Take care.

Silver what silver? i have found silver jewelry but still no go on my first silver coin, you lucky daug!

Woodchuck that silver reads pretty much the same as the clad
It has a mighty nice tone to it though. Find a nice old spot do some research
side walk tear outs old cellar holes old houses with permission etc. Dig all the
(solid tones beeps) on both sides (single tone beeps) single tones are trash usually nails
