Last week,we had him put to sleep;and my wife wanted him cremated so we could bury him at our place in West Branch this weekend. They said he was ready to go-SO-I took my motorcycle to get him;put him and his little box in my travel pack;and hit the road-FIRST TIME he had taken a bike ride!!!On another, more serious note:Yesterday I was outside, and noticed a little finch sitting on the bird bath near the bird feeders. He looked not too good-I walked right up to him;and put my hand right up to his eyes, and he never moved,or noticed...I told him "you're dying,my little friend"...About an hour later,I noticed him laying on the ground at the base of the bird-bath dead...It made me think how cruel animals can be-when one of them is dying;they all abandon it to die alone. It makes me think of the WORD where Jesus tells his followers a sparrow does not fall without HIM seeing it.What is worse is when people die all alone-Even without the Father;or His Son;Jesus:(.....

what was wrong with him? When I see a dead bird in a strange place, I wonder if the west nile virus got them.
