Haven’t had the machine out since about Thanksgiving, as I’ve been working in colder climes since then. Stopped in Boise Idaho to visit some friends, and went up in to the Owyhee Mtns with a buddy who is a rock hound. We were 30 miles from any kind of civilization, when he showed me a cool spot that rose up just off the dirt road, and was a natural overlook of the surrounding area. I broke out the Manticore, and within five minutes found a pocket spill with four coins, only about 2-3 inches deep. 1938 Mercury, 1918, 1930, 1942 Wheat. Bought my Manticore last September after being out of the hobby for 12 years. Found 15 Silvers before putting the machine up around Thanksgiving. This years goal is 50 Silvers. Keep Swinging!
