if he used the postal system in this fraud then the postal authorities will be interested also. that makes things federal. not that this guy seems to be worried. of course need to verify this is the right guy.

If he really IS the Tournement Fisherman, I would hate to think that he would risk his reputation doing something like this...I think your wrong all around on this guy...He is using this Darren guys name, and possibly a false address as well...How he is able to pull this off with Paypal is beyond me though...They usually require verification of address, bank accounts, and email addresses...This is why I no longer use PayPal or eBay...I deal in Postal Money Orders only....I can trace those...And if your caught fraudung those, it is a Federal Offense.

As for me, I called pay pal, and as I was on the phone the woman said to me that pay pal will refund my money because the tracking number was invalid, and she did right away. The funny thing is that today I got an email from Darren, and he claimed that HE was the one who gave me a refund, which is completely not true. What a bullshitter. Here is what he wrote:
"hey you little worm, I refunded your money, sent your boyfriend Tico his old piece of shit detector back and you both still slander me, funny I have proof neither one of you were out anything. there was a Dated shipping label problem with your purchase, & Tico flat out lied about the condition of his Tejon so hell no he wasn't getting a new detector for a beat up one & it wasn't the same detector you two were dealing on if you're so smart you would remember me telling you that my buddy won the same detector at the same hunt we attended together & I was selling them both. our pics recieving them are on the net also look up competition hunts Iowa and you will see. may get to see you findmall fags in court on slander charges, thanks for the solid evidence on FM you'll see who's cutest in the end !

I posted more about my case under my thread, basically I called pay pal and the woman gave me my money back right away. Then I got an email from Darren with lots of deragotary words, saying that it was HIM WHO REFUNDED THE MONEY, which is a bunch of crap. The Omega never came, and I am certain that if I didn't call pay pal I would never see a penny of my money. I am traveling for a while so won't be able to contribute to this thread.

Well after 2 weeks of grief I did get my Tejon back from Bubbles705.
I started contacting him the day his trade detector was suppose to show at my house.
I had a bad feeling early on and started calling and Pming him right away
I got all stories why he couln't take care of it, I called him atleast 12 times and he answered maybe around 3 of them.
I also Pm'd him numerous times,with no responce on Pm's at all., I started having a bad feeling early on, especially when I looked at his past post where he had sold another Omega before our trade conversation. Might be the one he supposily sold to Brawler7.
He told me the Omega was brand new in the box and that he had won it at a club hunt.
After I didn't recieve the Omega in 3 days, as we were to ship our detectors priority/Insured . I never saw any proof that he tried to ship an Omega to me.
,He held me off for 10 days, claiming he was out of town on fishing trip, then he had car trouble, then the story about Omega was damaged at PO before it left.. I finally threatened to file a Postal fraud claim if I didn't have the detector back on and did finally get it back.
I have a feeling if I had been patient and not been persistant, I wouldn't have got it back.
It took me 2 weeks to get it back but I did finally did get it back.
Maybe he has a conscious, Maybe he just wanted to get rid of me.

I got the Tejon back finally, Please read my post on other thread
He says I lied about the Condition of the Tejon, thats not true.
Here's the classified ad he responded to, with plenty of pictures and detector was as described.
I didn't describe this detector as anything more than it was.
He contacted me off this very ad.
