Buckle?

Found this in a plowwed field last weekend. I also found(By sight many years ago) an 1868 Shield nickle and a military button which I threw away not thinking it very old until seeing some of the posts on this forum. Anybody know what it is and about how old?
Thanks,
Chuck

I'll try to post them this evening. It is about 2" wide X 2 3/4" long and is very flat and appears to be silver plated as opposed to chrome. The design on the front appears to be brass and is riveted to the buckle on the back through the body of the piece. Along the flat side, there is a small tab folded over and two small, skewed rectangular holes on either side. No apparent markings. It does seem sort of familiar though but I can't place it.

...without any manufacturer marks or type to go on. Even the main part of the design is missing. A flower? A crown? A crest? If it was a recognizable symbol, that might even help...
Below is a link to a Western style three piece buckle with a flower design... Maybe something like this?
Sorry, I can't be more help on this, Chuck. <img src="/metal/html/frown.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":("> Thanks for posting.

...taking one more look at the buckle, I wondered if those might be oak leaves and acorns in the design.
Here's a buckle that maybe looks kinda, sorta, almost similar to yours if you squint just right. <img src="/metal/html/wink.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=";)">
Thanks again for posting, Chuck. Anything else in the junk jar? <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
