Buckles help

Whatisthis

New member
I have extensively searched for an online guide to dating buckles post 1800's without success. All of these were found on my back 40 in pike county Georgia. Any help with function and dating would be appreciated. This is just a small sample from the hundred or more I have found.

Hi,the large iron piece with ring is part of a horsebit,it attached to another one just like it.They're sometimes called watering bits. The smaller buckles you have are spur buckles that held the strap on.The silver buckle with two teeth is a suspender clip.(Check closely for a date)The buckle on far left missing it's keeper looks to be a small harness buckle.(Horse) I would be happy to do more identifying for a place to hunt.Let me know?
