Buffalo Meter Co. cap

Well-known member
Was out Sunday afternoon for a while. Thought I lucked-out with large silver, but found this Niagara cap (2 3/4" diameter) in a well-hunted park at 5-6 inches bouncing between 37-38, autosens/coin-jewelry. I added some baby oil to bring out the details and the pics actually make the cap look better than it really is. Thanks for viewing.

That's a very interesting find. That's what I like about metal detecting, you never know what
you might discover in the ground.

Ken, that is a cool find! Wonder how old it really is and what was it doing in NJ? Nice pix by the way!
The Safari forum is really starting to heat up, just like the weather!
