Bullet find in area used 1870-1940

Dug a bunch of 308, 30-06, older 223 and 273 lead from rifles used at a gun club 1870-1940.
The area had an 8 foot mound of dirt that has been spread over about 1 acre of ground.
Dug this from the same spot. I don't have any calipers to measure the exact size.........

If anybody has found one of these... I sure would like to know.

What is it?????????
 
These are some of the assorted .22 cal slugs I've found. They seem to measure about 4mm wide.
