Sabot but technically the part you have is still called a bullet, just the plastic cup is called the sabot. They come in lots of various designs and the diameter is not specific to the bore due to the plastic sabot.

The Bullet is a modern black powder mini ball.
You fill the groves with bore lube before inserting it in the bore.
