Got the opportunity to get one last hunt in for the year, Went to a Confederate camp that we had hunted before, dug some bullets, then found an old homesite nearby, had a great time digging, not to mention the weather was just about perfect! looking foward to hunting here again with some friends, in the new year!

Some very sweet finds there! For a non relic hunter one question. On the bullets around what ID# do you see? Or does it vary. I am guessing you hunt in All Metal? beale.

It kinda varies, my numbers show up anywhere from 18 to 32 . We're new to this relic hunting too, so we're still learning! HH

Nice finds. Nothing like digging those relics. What type of soil do you have there? I notice your bullets do not have the white patina on them that we have here in kentucky.

Really sandy soil here, easy digging lol
