Just got home from the Dr. I have strep throat! Sure just to swallow! I am contagious for the next 24 hours. I had to cancel a speaking engagement with a historical society, but did re-schedule. The good news is my back is feeling a little better! :)
 
Well, me son, sorry to hear about your strep throat but glad to hear your back is getting better! You must make yourself rest and take it easier for awhile. I think God knows you need to Rest & Relax for awhile and has allowed things to happen so you will! You may be young, but you too can over do in working, detecting and running to and fro! So have a quiet time and enjoy it......We have a healing Jesus and He knows what it takes to be healed unless a miracle happens and sometimes for our own body's good that doesn't happen for the reason only He knows!

Prayers for healing for both throat and back! Glorify God even if you don't feel so good, for He is worthy to be glorified and praised! :angel:

Sorry to hear you're sick, Mike! Praying for a speedy recovery! You said you had to cancel a speaking engagement with a historical society.... of course that got my attention (along with the strep). Being a history/social studies teacher, I'm curious to know what you were going to be speaking on.

being contagious you need to have time away from others....and the back is so much better....go detecting :thumbup:

Put some pleasure in that misery.
