Between work, a friend's birthday party, a company golf tourney and Erik in visiting from New Jersey; I didn't get much hunting in this weekend. So I headed down to Horseshoe Bay tonight after work to see if the Surf God had coughed up a platinum ring. Who do you think walks up to me in the water but the guy who lost the platinum ring, Robin. He gives me some new directions and proceeds to follow me around for half and hour of nothing but a couple of pull tabs and lots of pounding surf. After the ringless hubby left I worked the surf some more and turned up a very heavy 22K Men's Ring, 5 quarters high and extra thick.

On the way home I dropped by Erik's hotel and we compared finds, he had a .925 St. Christopher medallion with chain.
Also a possible old coin find, we'll see after I clean it up.
Cheers,
BDA

man I wish I found that!! Congrats & good luck finding the platinum ticket.
or European
tourist but it is less likely that it was from an Asian tourist as we don't get many of them here. You see a lot of 22K from India and the Middle East so it could be from there.
