I posted a few shots of the buttons and coins from the button farm I have been hunting. I didn't included this shot of the field iron I dug. There are some pretty interesting pieces so I will share it now.

I have been told those formerly handled pieces in the front were wood or log working tools. I have an intact horseshoe after digging six or seven pieces. I also have the business end of an iron. I felt like I knew where the barn or workshop was on this property but I decided to hunt there thinking that coins or a cache would also be logical in that area.

Nice Don look forward to your next post!!!

You have the right mind set for finding a cache. Dig everything. Those old mason jar lids with the porcelain caps have come in at 37 and 38 not all of them but some. Thought this might be helpfull in your discrimination settings in case someone may have used one of those lids to seal up a fruitjar full of money. Good luck and if you do find a jar full of gold coins and you very well may just remember loose lips sinks ships. HH :teknetics::detecting:
