Button found at the B&G

This was my one good find from the B&G Hunt....of course this was my very last signal of day one.....I was walking an old road swinging on my way back to "camp" when my detector went off....I dug down not more than 2" I think, and out came this flat button.....It has an Eagle at the top, and Best Quality on the bottom....I believe it is from around 1812, or earlier...which is cool, because it would pre-date the Civil War, and may even be of age for the Revolutionary War...any info would be greatly appreciated.

Congrat's on finding the very nice old button. I don't find them very often around here but when I do it puts a big smile on my face.

It woud be kinda cool to dig CW stuff or older artifacts but I don't think there is to much of that around here
