GOT OUT THIS EVENING THUR. FOUND A BUTTON I DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS ANY HELP ? HOW DO U CLEAN BUTTONS? TKS JC
 
i have found i c a buttons when i found one & get it home i run water over it & thats it like to keep it looking like it did when it came out of the ground.
 
A soft tooth brush and warm soapy water will do for starters. Be very careful as some buttons will fall apart if brushed too much. Look for the back mark if it has a brass back.
