Button ID help?

I found this button today in a park that I found a CSA button in last summer . It looks like military style, but does anyone know if it is military or civilian. The front looks like brass ant the back is iron , its rusty. Thanks

I couldn’t find a match in Albert’s or Tice. The I has some similarities with the lines in it, but none of them have the second circle border. Potentially it could be a “local button” and no one has ever brought that variety to the public. Iron or tin back were common in “local” buttons. Or it just could be some civilian button. I will say the incomplete I makes me lean to a locally made button or a civilian knock off. By the way I don’t know much, just providing my thoughts.

Thanks, I couldn’t find any pics like it, but the lines in the script look military like. I dont know if the letter is an 1 or an L.

Being a retired Fireman, I wonder if this could possibly be a Fire Dept. button, with the lines across being a ladder, with the number one, 1. This could have represented Company one. Just another thought to throw in the mix. Nice looking button and Congrat's. Here is hoping you can get a positive ID on it soon.

I just went to the history of the towns fire dept and it was called Fire Company #1. Thanks Confetrit, I think you solved the mystery. The original building is still being used, I will try to go there and verify if it is indeed an original fire co. #1 button. I came to the
