Found this button yesterday along with some other buttons trying to get a id on it sure it is British by the the other buttons I have found there most of the other buttons were from the 1840's.
Thanks Rick

Hi Rick; DT believes it's Canadian Militia of the 1850s period. The designs around the letters may be Shamrock? Nice find, David @ Dixie

Hi David thinking maybe Canadian Rifle Regiment could be wishful thinking trying to find buttons from all the regiments that were at the Fort in town from 1799 to 1850 found 21 of 25 so far this could make it 22.
Thanks Rick

Let us know if you get a positive ID on it. Good hunting, David @ Dixie
