Just wonderful to get out at this time of year in Missouri and

I have hunted that place many times. Unfortunately, I've never found a complete button there! Maybe 25 button backs and many .69 bullets. Brings back good memories.
 
John: Not much left but we (many detectors) meet near Sedalia each year to show and tell and eat food together then it's off to Otterville for an afternoon of hunting. We try to get as many "newbies" to the hobby that we can so that the guys and gals with some experience can get people off on the right foot. Usually one or two of us give door prizes for the best finds.

We call it the "Spring Rendezvous"..... just like mountain men but no whiskey or no squaws. LOL
