Recently phishing emails called "spoof" emails are being sent out all over the place presuming to be from PayPal, Ebay, AOL, Banks and other financial institutions telling you one of many things: Your account has suspecious activity, you've added a new screen name or password, you owe a certain amount of money, we need you to update your account, etc. They rarely have your name or screen name addressed, it's usually, Dear Member. These are bogus and if you click on ANY link you could suffer. There are password stealers or worse; they get your credit card info. If you have any concerns, call your bank FIRST. Forward PayPal and Ebay email to: Spoof@paypal.com or Spoof@ebay.com. AOL or other internet providers would go to TOSReports or ect. Just pay attention before you make a mistake. The reason I'm posting this is due to many folks using PayPal or other payment services. I get bogus email on a daily basis, and they're getting better at looking official. Beware! Good hunting, David@Dixie
