Buying A Minelab Explorer SE

Hi all,

I am considering buying a Minelab Explorer Se, and would like to know where you purchased yours or what dealer has the best prices and deals. I thank you all in advance for your help its greatly appreciated

Your local dealer probably has a price that is close to all the others. Usually he will be helpful in making sure you have good results and service with your detector. That way you will come back to him next time.

Go here and see where your local dealer is:

Good luck!

Thanks Alton,

I'm think I'm going to purchase on line, due to the fact that the closest dealer to me is still 3-4 hrs away. I would like to purchase the detector with all the free accessories and the x-1 probe and a small coil from the same dealer.

That way it's all done and you can hunt right away. I bought mine from Ralph at Sun Ray in Iowa. He has helped me to learn my machine and saved me from having to send it in for repair, he fixed it over the phone. I can't tell you how important it is to have a dealer who will help you learn and answer your newbie questions, that he's heard four million times without letting you know that. And their Sun Ray coils are of the highest quality. Good luck to you and your new SE.:detecting:

I have bought 5 Explorers from them and have been doing business with them since 1982. They stand by what they sell and they do what they say they will do. Twice I have sent detectors to minelab and when asked where the machine was bought there was not any questions asked. Just send it and we will take care of it. In 1984 I met Stu Auerbach in person. This is a company that I will do business with forever. Just my opinion. Good hunting. Jim P. Rockford,Illinois.

The internet being availible. Many will go to the computer and just order what it is that they want. It raelly does not matter if they are an actual user of the equipment or a pawn shop that has a couple of detectors on the wall.

AT first, but when a user has a problem. Then it will become a problem with..........now what do I do. Only to be told well call the manufacture. I personally have had to help people who bought on the net from other places, and encountered this.

I now have a sign in my shop...TRAINING $50.00 hour. I have never charged anyone, but someday I may.
