Kind of sorry to see it go but gave it to a friend of mine who has been wanting to get into metal detecting but just doesn't have the money to buy a detector. He's really rarin to go and has the user's manual along with the two DVD's that came with it to help get him started. It will be getting more use with him anyway as he has folks in the CA gold country and he visits on a regular basis. I have to fess up though, the Scorp is the machine that gave me my only gold finds but I've got the ATP now for going on a month. From what I can tell I won't be at any disadvantage as far as gold goes though. Same 15khz frequency with the manual ground balancing which has sensitivity adjustments to it and in pro mode, I don't think I'll be losing anything on depth.

At least he will tell you about the finds. getting one more person out in the field and working like the old timers. Makes this country even greater as the Old Buzzard massie states in his comercials.

"Freedom gives you an opportunity to succeed, but, it also gives you an opportunity to fail. You do not have a right to succeed in this country you have an opportunity"
George "Buzzard" Massie
