Ok guys here is the story as best I can remember it....I'm 57 now at about the age of twelve I buried a mayo jar with some coins mostly Penny's some nickels and dimes back of my mom and dads house in a ditch of sand 12-16 inches down.I liked collecting coins, rocks etc.at this time there were no metal detectors that I new of only military mine sweep types. With this in mind now as looking back I loved the idea of finding treasure and wanted someone in the future to find it......The note went like this.....here is some money it won't do me any good but maybe someone will find it years from now and it will help them....To this day on a few occasions I will drop a penny.nickel or dime in the garbage bag when I take it out just thinking about someone in the future finding it and wondering who lost it ,where did it come from....you know what I'm saying. and the possibility of it being worth something to them $ wise...I don't think I every went back to the jar as it was on direct path to a little country store we went to after school I don't remember getting any of the change out for cokes or candy.....one side of the ditch running at a ...T...was widen out by the city with machines...I don't remember looking for it but thought about it at times....It could have been destroyed....I've decided to leave it any way because of the original purpose...Have any of you done anything like this or thought about it?.....Good Luck Hunting To All.....Remember the best treasure we will ever find is with God In Heaven.....God Bless......Dan
PS.... one day I will do a good one with a note....I'm thinking about this and what to write...I could write a lot... God has been good to me That is real treasure to share.
