CACTUS EVERYWHERE!! NEED HELP WITH ID AS WELL

Today my trip was cut way short by cactus the pear type. I did find a funny little item at the abondoned coast guard station. It looks like a 2.5 inch round gasket, made of aluminum. reads MK-32 and what i think to be arming device. Does this make sense to anyone.
 
cool that thing was right on the surface at the base need heavier clothing to really hunt it due to the cactus those things ate me alive. Thank you for your ID help.
