I Stopped counting the clad at $1000.00
The fork in the pic. is silver
The skull dagger was used to keep the top open....not a find..
Just over 10 months of Looting...Had some local hot spots..

I did not include all the silver coins, pipes, Misc. costume jewelry and other odd finds.
Maybe in another Post...

First part of the year I used the EX-2 with the Excelerator coils..14" - 12" - 5" - 4.5 x 7"

In the Summer I used the Excals - 10" for sandy wide open areas and the 8" in the rocky areas of the lakes

Happy Holidays To all on the forum

That is nothing short than Unbelievably Awesome! I truly can't wait until next season to see if the Almighty Sea Pirate Mr.Chile can do a repeat performance for finds. Just imagine what that Pile O' Loot will look like say another 10 yrs. I think you better go out and get a bigger Treasure Chest to hold all your Pirating Loot! You have had a terrific year Mr.Chile and I hope you have many more years of Looting and Pillaging to come. Congrat's on the Great Sea Pirate Mr.Chiles Loot Finds for the year and Good Luck and HH on your next adventure out! Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Years Mr. and Mrs.Chile!

I'm going to Galveston Texas and I'm going to do some beach hunting with my SE, Most of my hunting has been in parks and yards , I've never hunted a beach, any advice would be really awesome. My wife is an absolute jewelry freak. If it were possible, she'd sew on another finger so she could wear another three rings. If I found her sumping purty I would be able to thank her for being so cool at three am on the Saturday night(s) when she's home all alone and I'm out with the band playing but I just can't find the sound (metal detecting), not all of the nights mind you, just the ones above thirty degrees, alright; ten degrees, but if the ground is frozen, then it at least has to be daylight. IS THERE A FACILITY FOR LIKE mETAL dETECTORS ANONYMOUS OR SOMETHING? cause I think I'm going to need one, An intervention or something, Oh wait, they call that work, don't they....anyway, back to my cool jewelry freak.....Help me find the princess a ring of jewels that she deserves.

Dude... you rock!!
better cash it in before silver and gold drop any lower.
Or hope for inflation to come back and shoot those prices back up.
keep some prize picks and dump the rest.
And then enjoy life..

Merry Christmas and a blessed new year.

MrChile works VERY VERY hard for his loot and finds most of it in the water - he's found a few great spots. I always love reading his posts here and on the water forum. I love to meet him in person some day and just watch him hunt!!

Regards, Erik

Don't hunt much salt water...

But get a wet suite and an Excal, if ya want bling

Cause ya most likely wont find bling on land

Unless your near the water...like low tide

Hunt the deep channels or surf cuts at low tide

Look for rocky areas that can hold heavy stuff

If ya don't find fishing weights or clad you most likely wont find the bling

Hunt areas that have the most crowds

But most of all.......Dig fri-gin everything that pinpoints....every Frigin thing!!!!!!!

Here something that might bring a smile..

On occasion Mrs Chile goes looting with me on land

Our last anniversary I planted a Opal/gold ring in a ring box with a bow

She's my digger - so I can go on to the next target...

When she dug it up she yelled "hey a ring box...wonder if anything is in it..."

Took her a minute - but she figured it out!!

I would like to see the pile of junk you dug to get that many goodies. Jeff
