My wife and I came home from her parents in West Branch yesterday-while traveling down I-75 south,it was EXTREMELY foggy,from all the melting snow-At times,it was safe to only travel 50-55;cause of the snow-YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE the amount of nit-wits traveling at least 70-80 mph-they would pass me goin that fast,ony to disappear into the fog;which at times made or only about 100 feet of visibility...Had there been a wreck up in front of them,black ice;anything at all,they woulda been statistics,just because they didnt use their GOD-given sense(??) to slow down...THEN everybody wonders why there are those nasty chain-reaction wrecks in fog,or snow white-outs...

went from Lansing to Battle Creek and then down to Indiana for the weekend and a lot of drives were going pass me like I was sitting still and at time you could see only about 100 feet in front of you hope the drive is better going back hoe today

They're here in MO too! I drive the speed-limit on nice days and they fly by like I was sitting still! Wanda, my sister-in-law says, Most people who drive are NUTS! Glad you kept safe on the highways! God Bless! Betty

I have seen some of the most incredible things imaginable. One night, I had a guy on one of those crotch rocket motorcycles go by me doing about 150 on the parkway. I had my window down and he scared the living daylights out of me By the time I heard him, he was gone. Drop a bike at that speed and there wouldn't be much left of you by the time you came to a stop... just one very long, messy skid mark

My bike wont go 150 (trust me,some of them top out at almost 200!!);Im happy goin 55-60(now you all know why I stay off the freeway)-couple of years ago,I was ridin along at 55 or so;when a brainless fool on one of them crotch-missles passed me-AT LEAST 120 or so-I didnt see him come up behind me,he passed me and VROOOM!!!-he was gone-Scared the you know what outta me, too...:angry:If they had a deer or whatever waltz out in front of 'em;at that speed there would be 2 dead bodies out there..... Best part is I have a dual-purpose bike,so I can stick to the back roads most of the time-Those cruisers and crotch missles are a no-no on dirt roads
