Camera specs.....will this do?

Looking at getting a digital camera for taking close up shots of civil war relics, bullets, coins etc.... Will this camera do what I need it to do?

1 Megapixel (1152 x 872) resolution, 24-bit color
2x digital zoom
8MB Compact Flash photo memory
1.8" color viewfinder
Runs a little over $200 so I can't afford to get it if it won't let me get the pics I need.
Thanks for all input.
 
Is there a macro (close-up) mode or is a lens available?
