Out after work for a couple of hours at a sports field, which was mostly clear of snow. The frost was still in the ground, starting at about 3". I found a small spill of coins, used the Pro-pointer to find them all, and was surprised to get a nice 10K gold earring. That's my second gold find so far this year.

Hope everybody has some nice family time with Easter, and if you get out detecting, good luck! I have to work all weekend :(.

Nice find John, it sucks that you have to work all wekend. What do you do that you have to work all weekend?:garrett:

I am a Registered Nurse and work in a hospital sub-acute unit, where we get post-op patients with hip & knee replacements.

Some good finds and nice gold earing . Congrats !

Congrats on the gold, buddy. The second of many to come for '09:thumbup: Man that Camo CX is alright! I love it! Looks great! Mine is the original (non-CX) with analog meter and manual ground balance. Got it back when I was in the Army. It's fun to take out and swing around every now and then. Still works well. Made some good finds with it.

Hey, don't work too hard. I've worked many nights and weekends in my day and it's better than the alternative(not workin'). Best regards. Happy Hunting!

Nice find John. Sorry you have to work all weekend but at least you are getting holiday pay right?:wiggle:

John

I really like that Camo unit you have. EVERYTHING here in Florida seems to be some form of camo...couldn't be 'cause alot of R'necks are here? :csflag:Nah...couldn't be that...but you sure would be well liked down here with that unit!

Don

You're way ahead of last years pace for gold.

Great uniform for your detector. I hope that was a winter project. I'd hate to think you used valuable detecting time.

Chris

It's amazing how far a roll of CAMO duck tape can go! I have made 3 covers for some of my machines....the Master Hunter CX, the Scorpion and the ACE 250. And there is still 1/3 of the roll left. :)
