Can an 8x5 PROformance for Ace 400i work with the AT Max

Hi guys,

Silly question (I'm allowed one of those per year Lol..)

I've an 8" x 5" PROformance coil from an Ace 400i and wanted to give it to a buddy who runs an AT Max but...will it go down in a ball of flames?
Think the MAX is 13kHz and the 400i is 10kHz...

(it works on an Ace250 and there is a minor difference in Op Frequency.)
 
Off hand I would say NO. The 8X5 coils have different part number and price for the Ace and AT series detectors. Info is from the Garrett website.
