I happened to be looking on ebay and noticed that Explorers have either the box I had with my EXII with pictures of people with the detector or the box with the Minelab graphics without pictures in white and red.
Work and honey-do takes up SO much of my time that I stopped hunting for about 4 months. My back was also killing me after about an hour. So I sold my EXII along with my X-Terra 50 and 70 and a CZ3D leaving me only with my CZ-70. Last weekend a friend asked me to look for a gasline for him in his yard. I then went over to his next door neighbor to say hello who lives in an 1877 farmhouse that I've hunted before. I hunted for a bit with my CZ-70 and finally found some silver, a '48-D Roosie but I know there is older silver there. I did find 1903 and 1899 IH's there along with quite a few oil lamp mantles before.
Over the last 2 1/2 weeks I stopped eating any junk and have been eating about 5 times per day, chicken, salad and fruit and lost almost 20 pounds, 230+ to 213 this morning and my back doesn't hurt anymore so I bought a like new XS yesterday evening on ebay. I did like the X-Terras but when I went to that 1877 farmhouse with the 50, as soon as I turned it on, it went nuts due to the powerline that runs along the sideyard, making the it useless. I also decided that going out for just a couple of hours on the weekend has to be enough instead of half a day like usual. I thought about buying another EXII since I did very well with mine but since most of the EX gurus use XS's and it's about half the price, the XS was it, until maybe an EX III should come out...HH
