This disc is 2.5 inches in diameter and has some writing as pictured. The back has H/C.

Any help would be appreciated. The last picture of the small writing has some blanked out so I coould reduce the KB's.

never seen anything quite like it...with a luster like that thing has I would have it checked to see if its gold...sure would be nice if it was...

It is solid, I agree about the luster but I am sure it is brass. I will have it checked though. The writing looks greek but I do not know, I am still searching for info on the web. Thank you to everyone for your input--BAC
 
Where did you find it, did you dig it out of the ground? It looks like what is called investment in the cracks of the item, that white stuff. So judging from what looks like investment in the cracks I would guess it is modern and made by a hobby jeweler person. That scheme also looks modern to me similar to an alien theme. I have no guess to why it is stamped/marked like that because armature jewelry usually isn
 
Greek mythology figure, maybe an old olympic medallion?
 
The small lettering is hard to make out, but it looks almost Cyrillic to me. As far as the style, I would venture 1920 to 1960. Just an amateur opinion.
 
I can read Russian Cyrillic, but it's not quite clear enough for me to read. Looks like the last 6 letters are PREKAE.
