I found these over the past year or so on walks with my dog in different areas of portland and hillsboro . I don't know much about rocks/ stone

s but I would love to know what kind they r as I think they r very pretty . I have hand polished most of them . Any help would be great.

The silver sparkly one may be a mica schist or gneiss. A lot of the rest looks like quartzite. These are all metamorphic rocks. The reddish one might be jasper (igneous or sedimentary). The Portland area should be comprised primarily of Columbia River Basalt and some sedimentary rock.

A lot of these appear to definitely be rounded. Did you find these along a gravel bar of the Columbia River? If so they could’ve been transported from up river.
 
Actually i found them along different walking trails around the area. Tried to google image search them but like always get a bunch of different results all showing rocks that look similar but called different types lol
 
Take to a local college or university geology department. They often like seeing stuff they dont usually get to handle. By the time they get done talking you will have a degree in something….😂
