Hi every one
if we put a barrel at a depth 2 meters ,can e trac hunt it ?
1- what is the mode ?
2- what are the proper settings if that happens ?

health & wealth for all

If the barrel is iron, at 2 meters almost a whoppingt 79 inches!.....your best bet is max manual sensitivity with NO iron or other discrimination, a large coil wouldn't hurt, turn on deep, noise cancel, TTF but i think an eTRAC or any other coin type detector cannot detect even a large object that deep. There are depth limits to these detectors.
Even if it barely can, it would need clean non-mineralized soil and no nearby junk to work with.
If it does let us know ....Good Luck!

For something like this you really need a $pecialty deep seeking detector system.

thanx a lot ironsight
but if we consider it as deep keeper relic and we use the open screen relic mode
will it be hunted ?

I would guess at that kind of depth a two box detector would be the way to go.. i havnt been in the hobby that long (3years) and I have never heard of getting that deep with a general purpose detector

I'm on the local cemetery board here in rural Nebraska. When I go out to mark a grave, I have to measure off of survey markers to make my measurements. So I use my detector to find the buried survey markers. As of yet, I have not been able to get my detector to sound off on a coffin. So I'm going to say no.
