Thanks I'm trying to get a handle on the pics,CNDK its an artillery gun 155 mm what use to fire when I was in the Marines.

I tried to put another picture up and I hasn't popped up? What am I doing wrong?
 
Maybe a picture that is 'less busy' would do well? Often the best avatar's are those pictures that are simple in nature. For instance, some years ago there was a two page ad in one of my favorite magazines. On the left page was an egg and on the right was a picture of a Volkswagen Bug. The only thing the add said was "Two Shapes Known Around The World". That's a simple ad and uncluttered, as well as very effective I might add.

Looks at Steve's picture or Mike's or a number of others here or even mine as an example.
