I love mine. I can go from dry beach to wet sand and into the water and NO problems with ground balance and threshold. It is great!

Sure can! I love it at the beach up to the shallow surf. Make sure you have a big scoop and a strong arm

Now that's more like it. I know I didn't find a standing liberty half dollar the first time I went out, or whatever the heck he was holding in the comercial. I love it. They ought to do a whole commercial like that. Instead of finding all the "good stuff" right away, have Dan picking up some old worn out lawn sprinklers and stuff, cursing at his new detector because it only finds "crap" instead of the "good stuff". Of course I'm just kidding here. This all comes about from listining to too many old Frank Zappa records all my life. Don't worry, I'll snap out of it in a few days or so, probably after I find some of the "good stuff".:|:O /Coins, that is.:|:O

To date, probably the best unit I've ever used on a saltwater beach. Just ordered an Excalibur though. I want to get into the water this summer, maybe get a dry suit and start doing it all year long if I like it.
