On my last hunt of the year in December I tried for gold but only got silver. This site had the worst EMI I have ever encountered so my settings were pretty mellow. Couldn't run any positive threshold settings on the F5 so I raised my gain a little and dropped my threshold way down into the negative numbers. Recovered over $14 in clad and these two silver peices; a cross and a coyote. Then promptly caught my wife's cold or whatever the crud was that she shared with me

Felt better last week and Sunday morning I got out for two hours with the Golden/Cleansweep combo and came home with a nice silver bracelet and another diamond ring. I used that detector because (one) I didn't have much time and wanted to cover as much ground as I could, and (two) I hadn't had it out in a while and wanted to hunt it. The bracelet hit way down in the foil range and was heavy enough that I thought it was white gold, but looking through the eyepeice showed "925" and a "Made in Italy" stamp. My pictures don't do it justice, its a very nice peice with raised lettering stating "I Love You" that runs across it several times. It reads a solid 19 TID number on the F5.
The ring is a 10KT diamond engagement style ring. Not the highest quality as the stone is a small one. The stone setting itself is what you see in the prongs. Still a very nice looking ring. Some lady is missing this one. It also hit in the foil range. It reads a 27 TID number on the F5. My picture sucks but its the best I can do.
Also found two other rings but they were junk. One had me going as it was a wide band and all I saw before I put it in my pouch was the inside of a wide yellow ring with three holes under where the stones would be. That was my first target and for the rest of the hunt I was hoping that would be a good find but nope, when I got home and emptied my pouch and sorted treasure from trash, it showed to be junk.
