Can I use a standard multimeter to check the pulse delay on my surfmaster?

I have been experimenting with the pulse delay pot on my older model Surfmaster to try and get more sensitivity to gold. So far I have had some good results, but I want to check it to be sure. Is there a way to use a standard multimeter to check the pulse delay? I want to adjust it to about 15us.
I don't know much about this so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe

You will need a oscilloscope to do what you want.
You will not be able to adjust the Surfmaster to 15uS. minimum pulse delay. The unit will need to be modified to do that.
