Can someone explain to me this video? AT PRO

Hello, this is the video...

I see that this man sets the atpro at zero pro mode, zero iron discrimination, iron audio OFF and when testing an iron nail... I can hear the iron low tone below 40... why ???

I cannot see differences between iron audio on and off !

P.s. i own an AT Gold and using zero discrimination and iron audio off, iron nails sounds at medium tone...

I can see that he is explaining that the iron disc at 40 is trying to knock out the iron and when set up this way and the sounds are very crackly in zero discrimination but is still picking up the lead and coins locking on with a medium or high tones. The Garrett AT Gold is a prospecting machine and has has true All Metal mode so this is where the difference maybe. Check the Garrett Web site and they will have the difference between the models. The AT Gold has some features that the AT Pro doesn't and vice versa. For gold nuggets the AT Gold would be better than the AT Pro because of these features and the higher frequency.

I found the user manual of atpro and it seems that IRON DISC and IRON AUDIO uses are a little bit different... it seems strange to me...

Here is the difference between iron audio in at pro and gold:

I think that it's more logical the at gold than the pro but... that's ok :D

is there going to be added differances if these is international version?

HH

I don't know, manual refers to at pro international and at gold (i think there is only one version)... hh !

Whereever you set the iron audio is the cutoff point for the low tones when you turn iron audio on...anything below what you have set for iron disc will be a low tone when iron audio is ON.....

I am very confused now here is what my owners manual shows

Your chart is correct and so is aSaSSino's, except one is for At Pro and the other is for the At Pro International.

I did not realize that the International version has a different break point between mid and high tones but I checked on pg 28 of both manuals and that is what it is.
