Can someone please tell me what the weight of the Excal II 10 " search coil ?

My scales say that with the coil cover the coil weighs 1 lb 9 oz. Weighed one that got damaged years ago. Lost concentration and hit a rock. Cost me dearly as I had to send the machine back twice to get the actual problem repaired. Of course the repair facility charged me for repairing an item that did not need repaired before they finally found that the coil was bad.
