Can the 2010 Safari's program be upgraded in the future?

Not unless they replace the ROM with another chip. Factory repair required... Get an Etrac
 
Thanks for your advice. I can barely afford the Safari, so the Etrac will have to wait.
I agree that the Etrac is a great detector. It's too bad the Safari can't be upgraded
like the Etrac.
 
There is nothing to upgrade. You've got 28 frequiencies automatic ground balancing. You can hunt anywhere just hit noise cancel adjust your sensitivity don't worry about EMI. Everyone else is upgrading trying to get what you will already have. JMHO HH :minelab:
 
It has never been sold as an upgradable ( New Programs added) detector as far as I know.. Yes you can add settings others use..But the basic programs from factory stay the same.. IF I am wrong..sorry just stating what I think I know..
