Can the ATMax find a dime on edge?

There is a video showing the ATGold not being able to hit a dime on edge. Here is what I found with the Max.

I found a merc on edge with the Pro. It was a park I, and a few others, had hit over the years. The vdi kept jumping from 70 to 80, but the tone was solid. It was only about 4 inches deep.

I'm going to test this again, but at 7" and see what happens. I expect it will be beyond the reach of the 5x8, but we will see.

I was using the stock coil. I was just hoping to snag some clad. It was my 3rd time using the machine and I was very surprised to find silver, like I said many others had been here before.
