Sunday it was 50 degrees in Michigan in January. About 99% of the white stuff was gone, the ground was soft so I went diggin. :detecting:
I only got two keepers and I will show them later. Now it is near zero wind chill and the ground is frozen again! :rage:

Move South!

Same here, it had warmed up with lots and lots of rain with flood warnings out for the Meramec in Arnold, MO, and yesterday and today has been extremely cold again! Like the old saying goes, if you don't like the weather just wait awhile and it'll change! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Sometimes I Wonder Why I Ever Left Southern California or Texas or Even Southern Georgia. I Truly Love The Change of Seasons But Dislike Winter With A Passion. I Know God Has His Purpose For Winter But I'm Not Sure We Were Ever Suppose To Live In It...?

That's how I feel about summer, Marty! I DO NOT like it... and was not made to live in it! What part of South Georgia did you live in?

...I think it was last Tuesday and it hit 60 here after a couple of weeks of bitter cold weather...well cold for us anyway!

want a new neighbor?

Glad you got to get out and find a couple of keepers. We are supposed to get rain tonight, freezing rain and snow Friday but it's going to be in the upper 40's by Saturday. Hopefully, my detector will be here by then and I can check out that old church. Hope you can get out again soon !!!!

Been in the high 30s to low 40s here. Got to love that El Nino. Thought about Texax a couple years back. To hot for me, to many days above 90 for me.

Pacific Northwest is good for me not to hot, not to cold. It does get hot and it does get cold but it is fairly moderate overall.
